  • Do test transactions show the correct processing fee?

I'm running tests on a Click and Pledge donation page, so I've got it in test mode. Does it correctly calculate the processing fee? Because it's taking $0.80 out of a $10 test donation, or 8%, which is a lot more than what it should be. Is that just because it's in test mode, or is that what will really be charged on such a donation?

    Baird,

You have a partner test account & those accounts have random fees associated with them. Our pricing for clients is at http://ClickandPledge.com/Pricing/

If you let me know the account number associated with your test account I can find out what rate is set for it. As I said before the rates for test accounts are set randomly and we don't pay attention to those since they play no role as no money is processed or settled. It is just a dummy account set up for developer partners.

Please let me know if you have any other question.

I'm asking about a client account with a checkout page set to "test".

Since this is a test transaction, it isn't processed by TransFirst. But it is a real client account. Does it apply the correct fees?

        Baird,

Please give us the account number so I can review the account. Without knowing the account number there is no way for me to give you an accurate answer.
