VT Support Custom fields? Checkout prepopulated & hidden fields?

My client has added several custom fields to the donation object, so I have
a few questions:

1. If they were to use the VT for all their donation entry, even for
paper checks and cash, how can they easily capture the information for
those custom fields via the VT?****
2. I'm assuming the auto responder can support those custom fields?.****
3. Also, they want to use NPSP Batch Data Entry of checks and cash after
fundraising events, how can that work with CnP?****
4. Can checkout pages accommodate hidden fields with pre-populated
defaults corresponding to those fields, so that the donations from a
particular page is attributed to the correct "income code

REPLY: In version 7.2 you may add unlimited number of custom questions to VT and default values may be added as well using the C&P Settings > Virtual Terminal tab.

2. I'm assuming the auto responder can support those custom fields?

REPLY: Yes- you may send an autoresponder based on the answer to a question.

3. Also, they want to use NPSP Batch Data Entry of checks and cash after fundraising events, how can that work with CnP?

REPLY: This won't work with our module. They should use our batch entry in the Virtual Terminal

4. Can checkout pages accommodate hidden fields with pre-populated defaults corresponding to those fields, so that the donations from a particular page is attributed to the correct "income code"?

REPLY: They may use SKU's for this purpose. SKU's give you a lot of abilities in Salesforce. In version 8, Due out in May, there will a lot of features around GL.
