Good day!
Next time please post your message as a new thread if the topic is not related to the existing thread. You have added your question to an unrelated thread which makes it hard to make sense of the previous thread.
Click & Pledge does not support Authorize.net and you need to establish an account with Click & Pledge. Starting November 1, 2013 all Click & Pledge accounts are set up automatically to accept American Express at the same rate as Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Accounts setup earlier than November 1, 2013 will need to request American Express.
It is easy! I will request it to be added to account number: 19787. The request needs to be sent to Transfirst and once enabled we will notify you- it typically takes 24 hours.
Also for AMEX you may read the following article: http://forums.clickandpledge.com/content.php?r=156-Adding-American-Express
Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

American Express and Authorize.net
My organization needs to take American Express. I have an Authorize.net account which allows us to accept AMEX and I submitted a support ticket asking if I could use Authorize.net with CP, and was told to post my question here.
Is is possible to use Authorize.net and the merchant account associated with it as the back end and still use CP for the interface?
Sorry if this is the wrong thread, but with no CP support it is maddening to know how to find simple answers. I spent considerable time searching here for "Authorize.net" and related terms and was led to believe it must be possible, but nothing more. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I figured it out. I guess the old form was the issue. I created a new one and copied the format of the old one and AmEx is now processing correctly. Thank you for your help!

Hello, we are still experiencing errors processing American Express cards, even when entered directly on the form page (not via iframe). The screenshot attached is from a coworker using her own AmEx card, so we know that is was a vaild card and all the information is correct, yet we are still getting a "Error Card Type Not Accepted" message. I just double checked and American Express is listed as an accepted card. It says it was last updated 2/2/2012, don't know if that could be part of the issue.

Good day!
Yes- it needs to be on a secure page since you are accepting credit cards.
SSL Keys may be purchased for around $10/year - check this: https://www.servertastic.com/rapidssl/
Of course you may always use our forms but do NOT iframe them. If you wish to iFrame then you need to develop the forms using our API platform as discussed before.

Does the form need to be hosted on a secure page? We do not have an SSL certificate for our site.

Good day!
No- those pages are not designed for iframe and should be used as links. In your case the main page is also not secure so certain browsers won't handle mixed mode pages gracefully.
If you wish to have a form natively in your pages then you need to develop a form using our FaaS processor. Here are a few examples - but you need a developer:

Is there another way to embed the form onto a page that you would recommend?

Ouch!
You are iframing one of our checkout pages. We know that IE has issues with iFrame and you may get varying results based on the browser.
We do not recommend using an iFrame with our checkout pages- they are not tested in that environment and we simply won't support the implementation. Internet Explorer has major problem with secure site iframes when the parent site is not secure.
Sorry but I can't answer your questions or try to figure out why at times you are getting that error. The page you have works perfectly fine outside the IFrame and is in use by 99% of our clients without a single issue.

Good day!
I see error when I visit your page:
Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture (or the neutral culture) on disk.
baseName: EkResource.en-US.en-US locationInfo: <null> fileName: EkResource.en-US.en-US.resources
Please let us know when the issue has been resolved so I can review the form.

Good day!
What is the link to the form you are referring to? Let me review the form and answer you once I see the form.

Thanks. The error message we received as "Card type not accepted" though, not a decline.
When we ran the card through the virtual terminal with the same information it worked correctly. This isn't the first time this has happened like I mentioned.
We want to make sure that this isn't happening to more people than we are aware of.
Is there something else that could be causing this error?
