  • What impacts the final transaction rate charged

My understanding is that the final transaction rate may fluctuate based on what information is provided on the donation page - valid Security Code, valid expiration date, and/or valid billing zip code. Is there any documentation on exactly how this is handled and what those rate changes are?
    Best Regards,

    Mike

    Good day!

This message was completely missed and sorry for late reply.

For fully qualified cards we have to have street number, zip code, CV2, and full credit card number. Unfortunately we don't know what qualifies as a qualified card or a non-qualified card. Credit card companies don't include the information in their authorization response.

Once I reviewed a document on all the different card rates and it was over 40 pages. That is why at C&P we created a flat rate for nonqualified cards since rates are all over the place.

Let me know if we can be of any further assistance.
