Enter Amount Declined

Hello,

When we are filling out the “Enter Other Amount” we are getting “Declined”. When the decline notification shows up in C&P - the amount shows up as $0.00 - despite the fact that we have filled in the “Enter Other Amount” box with valid amounts before clicking “Submit”. Is there a reason this happens to some and not all users? The donation page: ifwhenhow.org/give is a custom form but I can't seem to find the issue in the code, it used to work and now it doesn't. The fixed amount donation boxes work and have been adjusted through the years but the "Other" amount has not been adjusted as far as I can tell. I read through the PHP Processor page but I'm not sure if my issue was applicable to what is suggested.

We reviewed the form and did a couple of declined transactions by entering the amount in Other Field but we unable to replicate the issue. The transaction is declined for the respective amount, please see order numbers: 27201-2106070608190651111 and 27201-2106070507215341111

Please try to process the transaction in a different browser as it looks like the one you are in auto-filling the Other open field with 0.

We understand that you have contacted support. We looked at your zero-dollar posts and the form validations. The only reason for posting dollar zero to the API is if something enters in the "Other Field" other than numeric values like the dollar symbol. However, to fix this, we have updated our API for PHP Processor, so from now if you enter any character except numeric in that respective field, you get an alert on the donation page itself.

You can download the new file from the manual:

Once downloaded, you need to overwrite the existing PHP processor file.
