  • C&P Transaction not associating to existing Households

    We have discovered something that has been happening since the first of the year. We are estimating that 2 or 3 times a week, when Temporary Contacts (transactions) are processed, that a transactions may not affiliate itself with an existing Household. IOW, when you look at the record, the field Account Name is now blank, even though prior transactions under the Opportunity section had listed the existing Household.

    The ORG ID is 00D41000000fS3D and access is granted for C&P for 1 week.

    Please correct asap as we have worked hard to "sell" your company's integrity to our client Wesleyan Covenant Association. We have 200+ members that are bombarding the company president and associates with complaints of transactions that have forced their account to become unaffiliated with their Household.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. Would you please share the order numbers of the record where you see the household account not affiliated?

    Also, please share a couple of temp contacts order numbers and the existing ContactID you would like to merge with so that we can process and see what's going on?

      Jeff,

      C&P PaaS does not affect Account in any way when NPSP is installed, unless your organization creates a customization to do so.

      Could you review transactions where this occurred and see if 'Church Name' was one of the questions for that transaction's form?

      I believe this Custom Mapping may be responsible for your problem:

        I had to chase down Marketing to get a status answer. Apparently they reached out to a developer who patched the SF/C&P integration. It's working and it's all I know. Sorry. Thanks for listening!
