  • Force recurring donations to use new receipt settings?

    Hello,

    We have edited our receipt settings to send all notifications to an additional address, but this doesn't seem to be working for recurring donations which were established before we made this change.

    Is there a way to force all recurring donations (regardless of when they were set up) to use the new receipt settings? Or is there a way to update them on an individual basis to force them to use the new settings?

    NO, there is no way. It will send the same receipt until it reached the goal. You need to cancel the recurring and set up a new one.

    However, there is one workaround but that requires to send the receipt manually each time. You need to go to that respective recurring >> Manage Recurring >> Edit/Update >> here uncheck the Send Receipt and update it. This will stop sending the receipt to that recurring, then you need to go to that recurring record each time on their installment date and send it manually by selecting your desire receipt template: http://help.clickandpledge.com/custo...send-a-Receipt
