  • Getting hit by the same fraudulent activity. Please help!

    Hello C&P Support,

    My C&P Connect Portal is being hit by the same spammer today. One of the many 200-400 transactions is this one 24172-1803131232102626155. Any insight in how to block these altogether would be great. Any advice or action is highly appreciated.

    The Order Number you have listed was blocked as fraud by our system. It shows quite a heavy weight and it was blocked automatically.

    I am not quite sure why you think this was processed. If you check Connect it should show FRAUD blocked.

      Hello CnP.Support ,

      Thanks for your follow up. I never said this transaction was processed as valid. I understand it is FRAUD, but I was curious if C&P Support could block these fraud transactions from coming in at all so that my transactions queue in the C&P Portal does not get flooded. I will assume no due to other insight that I found. You are good to go. No follow up needed.

        It is something we have thought about filtering but we have no way of knowing if a legitimate transaction was falsely captured.

        Our filter in view can be set not to show the fraud. Perhaps we can make that the default view. All transactions are recorded and are there for you to also verify, just in case of false positive.

          Sounds good. Thank you. Yeah if you could make the default view not show them that would be good. Or if you know a client's Transaction queue is being flooded to help with deleting or something like that. Obviously a big change so if it's worth anything to include as part of the next or next 2 releases that would be great. Thanks!
