I just tried to update to your Spring '18 release and got this error:

null

Thanks for handling the update. How would I have known that these errors were expected without reading the release notes? Do you have a way to provide this information on in the About C&P section in the Salesforce app so I can known I have to take specific actions before updating?

It is mentioned in the release notes only. It is always good practice to review the release notes before the upgrade as these steps apply only to upgrades, not for fresh installation.
