  • Decline Reason: Invalid Merchant Account

    Hi, I've been looking around and haven't been able to find anything more specific on what is meant when a transaction is declined with the error "Invalid Merchant Account".

    Two eCheck donations were recently declined on that basis:
    1) 37827-1707291332233491887
    2) 37827-1707281757190337199

    Could you look into them and see what might be wrong and/or give some insight into specifically why it would give the error "Invalid Merchant Account"? Thanks.

    We reviewed and found that above transactions has been processed through eCheck. We found that TransFirst (TSYS) has hold eCheck capabilities until you provide some information. I have forwarded this to our accounts department and you will be getting an email from [email protected] (Mary) and she will work with you and TSYS on getting this resolved.
