  • Opportunities not created on transaction

    Transaction Order # 26861-170321132331681 did not result in any Opportunities as is customary. I have already tried re-posting to Salesforce in Connect and nothing happened. Please check into an explanation and solution.

        We simply clicked on the update button under C&P Settings >> Opportunity and reposted the above order number.

          Dear C&P support:

          We are also having difficulty with a C&P registration not creating an opportunity. This was a web sign-up that was held up in "temporary contacts". We clear these types of contacts regularly and have never noticed this type of problem. This time, when we merged the temp contact with the existing contact in SF, we noticed a lack of opportunity being created. (the registration, however, is showing up fine for the event in question).

              Yes, we ended up manually creating the opportunities since they did not get created automatically. Initially the "Related Opportunities" field was blank. This had never happened before so we just want to be sure we don't have to monitor this going forward.

                Moving forward if you see the same issue then please don't create the opportunity manually and share the order number with us so that we can review it.

                  Hello C&P support:

                  Similar issue is again happening: people are registering on our site for events, C&P registers them, but no opportunity is created.

                  Org ID: 00Di0000000ccq1

                  We will give you access to our instance.

                  The order numbers in question are:

                  ​​​​​​26899-1906020920476807007
                  26899-1906020923355057007

                  This customer had three separate credit card transactions. The third one did work and did create an opportunity, once removed from temporary contacts:

                    Good day @Mike Beck

                    We reviewed and found that for the above 2 order numbers the C&P Data is deleted and maybe edited the records? However, we simply removed the complete footprint of those order numbers from your Salesforce instance and re-posted it from Connect and it created the Opportunities and all seems to be good.

                      Hello, we are experiencing this issue as well - transactions not posting as opportunities. I've tried to change the settings in opportunity, but there must be something I am not doing correctly. Could you please assist?
                      One of the order numbers is Org ID is Salesforce Org ID: 00DA0000000YqDJ
                      access granted for one week
