We would like to offer both subscription capability as well as recurring pledge option. Not sure how to do that on Click and Pledge, as it seems you can only choose either or.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Would you please elaborate your question little more? Are you referring to Subscription and Instalment?
We do have an feature called C&P Pledge in SF, in which patrons may pledge to pay a fixed amount over a preset or open period and will be accounted based on the conditions: http://help.clickandpledge.com/custo...ticles/2084178

under the Payment options of CnP there is an option to choose either Subscription or Installment. There is no way to choose both. We would like to have both options, as we do want people to have the ability to "pledge" as well as "subscribe"
The API does not have an issue. The interface in the VT is designed to post either one or another and one can program the same. Programming is not the issue- programming is just typing.
The issue is the UI for the end user. I want to pay $10 for 12 months or I want to break the payment into 10 payments of $1
We do not offer both on a single event due to the complexity it presents to the donor in deciding. It is easy to offer a manual to an admin but with a form you cannot write a manual for every donor..
A form has to be easy to use and understand & our UI testing has shown repeatedly that this confuses people. If you want you may easily create a form with our open API as a custom form.
Hope that answers your question. Please let us know if we can be of more help.
It does, to some extent. Thank you for clarifying. Liz may have more questions later about creating another form if that will solve our issue and let us offer both, but for the moment we will start with subscription. Thank you, as always, for your prompt and extremely honest responses - I can't possibly express how much that is appreciated...
