  • 5001 Error on Donation form and when using Virtual Terminal in Salesforce

    Hi there,
    We have a new Click & Pledge account. Last week we were able to process payments via our online donation page without any problem. We integrated our account with Salesforce yesterday. Since then, we have not been able to process credit cards via our donation page or using the Virtual Terminal within Salesforce. The error we receive when using the donation page is that the card is bad or that we should try again later. The error we receive when using the Virtual Terminal in Salesforce is Decline 5001. We've tried with several different cards.

    Good day!

    You have done a number of tests using 4111 TEST card in Production mode. Our system has blocked your IP address as a fraud source and attempted hack!

    Please do NOT test using the 4111 when in production. Posting repeated declines will increase your fraud score and all aspects of your network and persona will be blocked until removed.

    We have cleared the IP's from our system so you should be fine now.

      Thanks for your quick response! What I do not understand is that we have only used the 4111 TEST card on one of our donation pages which was in Test mode, not Active. What is meant by Production mode?
