  • Refunds through PaaS?

We have recently finished adding Click & Pledge (using PaaS) as a payment option in iVolunteerOnline (ivolunteer.com). We are continuing testing with select mutual customers, and have not yet made it available to our entire customer base.

For consistency with the other payment gateway options we offer customers, we would like to be able to support "Refund" from the iVolunteerOnline administrative interface (just whole transactions; we have no intention of supporting partial refunds).

In a previous post C&P support suggested that Refund would be supported in PaaS version 9 due this year. Is that correct and still planned? Can you give us an idea of when that might be available to us and whether we might be able to discuss getting early access to it?

    Good day!

Nice to see the implementation. We would like to see a presentation when available so we can present it to our clients.

The Credit (aka refund) is supported in the current that is live. Here is the schema:

Please let us know if you wish to discuss this further.

That's great news about support for refunds! I' already studied the APIschema and refund seem to work by providing a ReferenceTransaction with a relevant OrderNumber and ValutGUI. I was only able to get a successful refund in Production mode (vs. Test mode), which should be okay; does that make sense?

I'll let you know (around early March) when we go live with a real mutual customer; they will be taking table reservations on iVolunteerOnline with payments going through their ClickAndPledge account.

        Good day!

The TEST transactions are not "real" transactions and as such cannot be refunded. The transaction does not settle and is only processed as a validation of post.

Great to see your progress. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance.

Once you are ready let us know and I will have our marketing do a joint release to all of our clients. Hopefully that will help you as well.

As promised, here is a preview of a couple of live links to two mutual customers, signing-up reservations/memberships on ivolunteer.com and the payment is going through Click&Pledge PAAS.

We are still in a 'live test" phase and not ready to formally announce this feature to our clients or yours (although we are accepting customers who wish to be a part of testing). Once we finish testing and add the payments support to our mobile optimized pages we will be ready, and I will let you know again at that time.

            Tad,

            This is great.

Let us know when we can see a demo of your implementation. We like to let our clients know of the availability of the integration.
