  • "Upsert failed" error for reacurring payments

I am getting the following error for some, but not all, recurring payments:

Upsert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: DUPLICATE_VALUE, duplicate value found: unknown duplicates value on record with id: 006U000000LPfBE: []

I spoke to Kamran Razvan about this during the office hour webinar and he instructed me to post it here.

      Support,

I apologize for not granting support I thought I had. I just did it again and you should now have log in access. The "Upsert failed" error occurred for another recurring donation that was made over the weekend. Let me know if you need any additional information to resolve this as I though that this problem was already resolved through a premier support tech call case #00008960.

Thank you for taking the time to fix this correctly.

        Support,

I just got done with talking with Kamran Razvan about this error. I have fixed the settings on my side according to Kamran and he informed me to give you the order numbers of the error opportunities that need to get pushed again from your end to my data base. Thanks, and please let me know if you need any additional information from me.

I would really appreciate an update as well as I have yet to hear anything back from you in regaurds to solving the issue rather than just seeing the error order numbers being pushed into our system correctly.

            Good day!

We fixed the transactions as requested.

It is strange that this keeps happening- it is as if you have a program that is really consuming Salesforce's processes.

When you say, "it is as if you have a program that is really consuming Salesforce's processes" I don't understand what I am supposed to do with that information. I would love to know who I can fix this problem from occurring in the future. Does this statement mean that you cant find out how to do this? Will you continue to help me fix this error? Please advise me on what I can do if anything to fix this error.

              Thank you.

                  Good day!

We have resolved the issue for you for that transaction.

In reviewing your instance and comparing it with our other clients we see one app that we have not seen before. It is an app you have installed by RoundCorner.

Any idea about that app and if it does something to the opportunity?

                    Hi Kamran,

I looked into round corner and I have no knowledge of the app however, I believe that our company might have used them when we transitioned to Salesforce back in 2011 but it still should have nothing to do with the opportunity itself. Thanks for continuing to look into this for me as I really do appreciate it. Here are the new error order numbers:

                      Good day!

We fixed the 2 Order Numbers you provided.

                      Please see below:

the app you are not using has triggers on the opportunity. While we are not sure this is the reason for the problem, we would like to see if you can remove it - naturally if you are not using it. You may also want to disable the trigger and test.

As stated before we have never tested our app in the presence of this product and knowing the cross talk would help us narrow down your issue.

Let me know if you need help with disabling the trigger or the app.

                        Yes,

Could you please go in and disable the trigger. I would like to keep the app there encase it needs to be there for other applications that other employees are running. Thanks in advance for all of your help.

                          Good day Lucas,

The trigger you are referring to is part of a managed package and cannot be disabled by us.

The only solution is to un-install it if you are not using it.

Let us know if we can be of any further assistance or if you wish for us to uninstall the package.
