  • declined card

I have another donor whose credit card is consistently being declined. I would like someone to research this case to determine the cause of the declined transaction.

    Here are the transaction IDs:
    1409120026474490000 9/11/2014 $100.00
    1409110007345520000 9/10/2014 $100.00
    1409110010465670000 9/10/2014 $100.00
    1409042303384820000 9/4/2014 $100.00
    1409042314521390000 9/4/2014 $100.00
    1409042320482950000 9/4/2014 $100.00
    1406082257549290000 6/8/2014 $100.00

As I was clicking "post" I noticed that all of the IDs end in "0000". It seems that there's a problem with the credit card number the donor is entering. If you have further details on this, it will help me when I contact the donor.

      Good day!

These order #'s are not in our system as listed.

May I ask you to post the first name and last initial so we can review it based on the patron's name?

          Good day!

We reviewed the 6 transactions and they are all listed as "Test Mode - Decline transaction".

I retrieved the posted XML from your FaaS form and the mode is indeed Test - see below:

          <OrderMode>Test</OrderMode>

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Thank you. I believe I know what happened. Last week our developer forgot to change the production mode when he copied our code to the production site. The incorrect page must be still cached in the donor's browser.

            Thank you for spotting this.
