CVV Optional in API

Hello there-

Is it possible to make CVV an optional parameter to be passed into C&P through Paas/SFDC API Class library? I noticed that it's not required through virtual terminal and would like to do the same through the Class Library.

CV2 is not mandatory in the main SOAP API and as such is not mandatory in the Salesforce API Class Library.

One point to consider that may influence your decision for not using the CV2. Banks and card companies may downgrade your transaction in the absence of CV2 as a non-qualified transaction which may incur additional fees.

Just something to keep in mind.
