Is there a way to modify the "Unit Tax Deductible $" amount after the transaction has been closed? Either in the portal or within Salesforce?

No- there is not at this time.
Is this a recurring transaction? If you send us the Order Number we may be able to change it manually.
Transactions are not set up to be updated or modified once they settle.Regards,
