  • Consistent "Declined Transaction" Error for Donor

    Hello,

    I have submitted several requests related to the difficulty one major donor is having making a donation through our custom api at www.nyfoundling.org/donate.

    The donor's name is ****ew ***en. The most recent order number for the attempted transaction is 1312181103291889005, and it was attempted at 11:03AM on 12/18. The error message he receives is: Your donation is declined. Due some server errors." Our web developers maintain that this particular error message is originating from Click and Pledge, not our CMS, so we also need to address that error message if it's a problem with his card. We don't believe that to be the case, however, because he's been making transactions everywhere else. Our site is the only one he has an issue with.

    Please address this as soon as possible.

    Hi Cliff,

    You can download the report for declined transactions at anytime. The transaction you are referring to was declined due to: Invalid CV2

    This is also available in the declined report through the portal.
