That does make sense. Hopefully our integration consultants can find a way to generate a decline vs error message page. Thank you for your prompt response and help.

    Good day Deb,

The link you sent me shows NO error messages. The reason is simply a decline by the bank.

    See below:
    HTML Code:
    http://www.clfoundation.org/donation-error-0?on=1312111039044231119&response=decline&hashresponse=ZmQ2NWI1MjJmZDExZjIzMzgxYTFmNDYyNmQ1MWZiZDg1MWMwMzI=&RefID=Online-Donation
When you see the "response" the bank's response is shown and no error is seen. It appears that you are posting the decline to an error page.

See the parameter response = decline

Hope that makes sense. Let us know if we can be of more assistance.

  • Identifying donation errors when working with 3rd party integration

    Hi -

I'm trying to trace the cause of donation errors made from our donation page (https://www.clfoundation.org/giving-online). I know from an earlier conversation with Kamran that the error code is shown within the URL but I am having difficulty locating it. For instance, I generated an error intentionally by using the incorrect expiration date. However, I don't see an error code in the resulting URL (below):

How can I identify the error within the URL?

    Thank you for your assistance!

    Deb
