Recurring Donations On Same Day Every Month?

Hi,
we currently have a donation form set up to collect either one-time or recurring donations, allowing donors to select from different donation levels (or specify their own amount).

We're contemplating a specific campaign "20-20" ($20, charged every month on the 20th). Is this possible with C+P, and if yes, how would I go about implementing this?

Of course it is possible. You have posted this question to the FaaS forum which is the Forms-as-a-Service API forms processor.

Are you creating your own form?

Adding recurring donation to checkout pages is as easy as a click and setting the policy. If you are developing a custom form then it is a matter of adding the proper form fields to your API form.

Let me know what you are trying to do so we can guide you in the right direction.

Yes, we have our own FaaS forms (see https://www.literacypartners.org/way...ive/donate-now).

As I said, here's what I want to accomplish in my custom form:
1. only one donation amount ($20)
2. user signs up for recurring donations.
3. On the 20th of each month, $20 are charged to cards on file.


The key question are:
No matter when they sign up (let's say January 13), I only want their card charged on the 20th (January 20).
Also, recurring charges should always happen on the 20th (02/20/2013, 03/20/2013 etc), not in 30-day intervals.

The feature you are looking for is part of the full scale API but not in the FaaS. It is a feature that we will be adding soon - just have to find time.

You already have the recurring on your site so you know how to use that.

Are you using Salesforce? We have the feature you want as part of the Virtual Terminal in Salesforce but you don't have the option in FaaS as stated before. Hang in there and we will add that hopefully soon.

I do not see it as an option in the Salesforce interface (picking a specific day each month for the transaction to process).
