  • authorize, decline and error pages form post back variables

    hello,

can you please give me an example of how to post back variables into a form for the authorize/error/decline page? please refer to my older post called authorize/decline/error.

is it necessary that I do that to make the form work of just a thank you page would be enough?

I actually posted this question as a response to my old thread but got no response back form you.

can you please help me with this last step?

    thank you!

    Good day!

Sorry the reason we had not answered is because we really don't know how WordPress works. I asked around and at our company we have no experience with WordPress and how post back or forms may be read.

Perhaps you can post this to WordPress forum and find out how you can read form field elements that post back to your site from another site. We can gladly post it in the forum for others to also use.

Sorry that we can't be of more help.

        Great!

Perhaps when you have a little time you can write how you solved it as part of your original post or this post so others (including us) learn from your experience.

        thanks.

it was simple I just simply created a thank you page and redirected the on success URL to it. Initially I thought I needed to insert some additional code but after doing some research I realized that it was way simpler than expected.

            Oh!

I responded to you and stated the following in your original post:

"To start with I suggest simply create 3 pages and place in them a Thank You message, a general decline message. You may also want to point the ERROR page to the decline page after you are done with the tests."

I was confused by your next post thinking that you want to show the details for the transaction response in your "Thank you" page. The response from the server includes such values as the authorization code, and order number and I thought that is what you are trying to show.

Most people simply create 3 pages and simply list the URL's for those pages in the OnSuccessURL, OnDeclineURL, and onErrorURL.

Glad to see all has settled and working. Let us know if we can be of more assistance.
