  • FaaS Invoice Option?

    Hello,

Is it possible to have invoice as a payment option when using FaaS? I haven't been able to find any documentation on this matter.

    thanks

    Good day!

Sorry but FaaS does not support invoice or purchase order. It only supports payments that need to be processed through the bank, namely ACH and Credit Cards.

      RE:Invoice Option

After reviewing similar posts on this, it seems what you mean is you don't want to miss out on any revenue by allowing invoicing. Why not just attach a flat 1% or 2% fee for invoicing so we can have that option rather than restricting it to only free orders?

For the great sales pitch we received on C&P, we are starting to experience buyers remorse now as we have to wait until another release to use coupon codes, can't offer a fixed discount per item, and now we can't allow invoicing or a pay-by-check option.

When holding events, especially ones where a company is picking up the bill for an employee, many times employees submit the bill to their employer, who sends the check later. Why position yourself as an easy solution for non-profits when you limit our business practices to what is convenient for your organization?

          Tom,

It is not true that this is not convenient for our business. The PaaS full API platform supports all that and much more.

FaaS is designed for small forms & convenience for processing transactions online. Your hard & critical comment is not fair considering the intent of an application. PaaS platform supports all that.

Currently to make PaaS compliant with the shopping carts that we are introducing shortly we are adding coupon code per item. We are not sure if this will be added to FaaS since as we add nodes to FaaS it makes it more and more complicated and will discourage the programmers to use it for what it is intended to do.

Please consider using PaaS - API platform for what you are doing.

            Tom,

The FEE is not the issue. We are offering INVOICE and PURCHASE ORDER as part of the catalog page as well as allowing our Salesforce transaction to handle it as well.

The reason for FaaS not having it is to keep it simple and make it appeal to the majority of users that accept donations online. It is meant to be simple and we have made every effort not to include what is not needed, e.g. tickets, name badges, etc.

Each product has its scope and FaaS is simplicity. The full API backend, namely the PaaS handles all that and you can see that in the manual:

If you wish to use all the features offered please use the FULL API as FaaS is really not intended for that purpose - at least not now.

              Tom,

One of our developers has picked up this issue and will be adding it to an update in FaaS within the next 2 weeks.

Currently we are working on the PaaS platform and once that is released we will add this to the FaaS. Hopefully this will take care of your buyers remorse!

                  Hello,

Is it possible to include options for more than one payment method on the same form?

                    Good day!

Of course you may include as many options as you want but you may want to write a JavaScript to ONLY show the fields needed for the selected payment method.

For example you don't want to include the ACH (eCheck) options if someone choose to pay with a credit card.

In FaaS we match the payment method with the fields it requires.

                    Hope that answers your question.
