Recently, one of our donors got a message that a "fatal error" occurred after he tried to make a contribution through our FaaS donation page (https://www.ashoka.org/donate).
Recently, we submitted a support ticket and forum post regarding users seeing a white screen after they submitted their form data. We believe this was due to the fact that some of our donors had cached versions of our donation page in their browsers and were submitting the form data via a non-secured version of the donation page. We're working to resolve that issue by adding mod_rewrite rules to our .httaccess file and by adding no-cache meta tags within our donation page's head tags. However, users may continue to experience the white screen problem if our fixes don't work 100%.
In response to the forum post about the white screen issue, the C&P Support department posted that they were going to make an update on or around 12/30/2011 to the FaaS processor where it will send the primary contact of the C&P account an email with detailed instructions if a non-secure post comes from the site. This way we will be notified first before a client contacts us.
Finally, when the notification is sent, what information about the donor will be included (name, email address, phone number)? Or will we simply receive a notification that someone submitted the form via an unsecured page?
Thank you
- Can you troubleshoot this issue?
- What could have caused this error and how can we/you prevent this from happening again?

- Has this update been made? (For a reference, see http://forums.clickandpledge.com/showthread.php?513-Donation-troubles-to-blank-page).
- If so, when was the update made?
- And, could your update have caused the 'fatal error' problem that our donor experienced?
