  • Yikes! I linked to "http" and not "https"! Can I tell who tried to donate?

    Hi C&P,

A client of mine recently sent out two recent Constant Contact messages that did not have the secure" https" prefix only "http". As a result, you could click through into our FaaS form and attempt to donate, but once you hit submit you received an error message. It should be fixed going forwards, but I want to know if Click and Pledge can help me identify anyone who tried but ultimately was not allowed to donate?

    All the best,

    Bill

    Good day!

Per PCI mandates we block any communication that is not over SSL. Nothing can possibly post and we don't accept any communication - if we do we will compromise the security of the card holder.

So the answer to your question is, unfortunately NO. We do not have any record as the API simply refuses connection.

I wish we could be of more help.

      Hi C&P Support,

Thanks for the quick reply! I figured that was the case, but I wanted to double check before I passed that along.

      Thanks again,

      Bill
