  • Assistance needed with FaaS mapping to Salesforce.

    Hi Support,

As much as I love the your system but due to our current circumstances with most of things that has gone wrong with Click and Pledge even user errors has been tagged as your problem as well. But I will keep defending this Solution since I think it is better and way more cheaper than others.

Anyway let me make a list of our current issues that I need all your support and attention to resolve this issues that we have.

    1. We are developing a FaaS donate page https://gsot.edu/donate-2/ but its not quite working well since it keeps on creating TEMPORARY CONTACT even if it has matched the First Name Last Name and Email. Please we need this working and one of the manager is suggesting now to find other solutions.

    2. Events Page - when a customer is clicking on the link they will be warned by browser saying that this page is not secured and so on, and since our customers is really not that techie then we really need to have a page that will not prompt you with warnings about security. Please this is really important.

SO PLEASE! help me defend you and to keep you.

    Good day @Clindo,

Sorry you are experiencing the issues you are reporting. None of these issues are C&P issues and I show you what is going on.

Please see below: C&P Settings > Contacts & Accounts

You are asking the system to match and find contacts based on C&P Alias First Name and C&P Alias Last name ONLY. This means we will not look at the Contact First & Last name & only are concerned with the ALIAS records. I am sure you see the issue. In the absence of any alias information we will simply put it in the Temp as that is what you are setting us to do.

What you need to do, if that is what you want to do, is to also select First name and Last name in your setting. Once selected we will search both First Name & Alias and Last Name & Alias.

    As for the Event.

I am not sure what the SSL issue is since you have not included a link to your event registration. Our system is PCI Level 1 certified and all aspects of the page are secure. The event is on the Salesforce platform and also using SSL. We need to review your event page to see if you have included elements from outside the Salesforce environment that is not secure. Once we see your page we can let you know what the issue is.

As for our pricing and everything else. We do not compete on price and don't consider ourselves a choice based on price. We have the most comprehensive package in the market and work with banks and financial institutions. I hope you judge our solution based on our features and seek answers to your issues through our forums and various channels such as office hours, HUB, etc. It is hard to be judged so harshly when the issue is simply misconfiguration of the app. The app is simply doing what it is asked of it.

Looking forward to hearing back regarding the event so we can help you identify the issue.

      Good day Clindo,

Glad to see things are moving in the right direction. I would like to know what was wrong with the event SSL. Based on your description it seems like you had included an insecure page, image, etc. in the body of the registration page where the source was outside the Salesforce not hosted on a secure site. Is that true?

      As for mapping.

Please give us an order number so we can review the C&P Data. The truth is in the C&P Data and once we can see what the form has posted we can determine what is wrong with the form or your setting. Something you have done is not matching with what you are posting. Knowing an order number will help.

        @Clindo,

We just also reviewed your instance & noticed that your URL is incorrect. Please see:

If you see the instructions you will see the note about .secure. Our system actually does that automatically but it seems like someone has removed it.

We fixed it for you. Please note that Salesforce's secure site adds a .secure. before the .force.com domain.

This should fix your SSL issue.

          Good day!

While waiting for an order number we reviewed a few of your C&P Data records. It is strange - see below:

The Billing First Name is in 2 parts- this makes no sense. As you said you are posting this in error. The reason you are seeing the issues is because the first name is NOT matching the first name you have in Salesforce. I hope you see the issue.

I believe all issues you had should be resolved by now. Please let us know if we can be of more assistance.
