  • LastPaymentDate not processing

I am attempting a which has a recurring payments option. I am trying to utilize the LastPaymentDate (split into the Year, Month, Day) field as listed on http://manual.clickandpledge.com/For...g_Transactions

When I test my form, using https://verify.faas.cloud.clickandpledge.com, all my other fields post correctly but the LastPaymentDate fields are not visible at all. Is there some other field or option that triggers these? Maybe there is a certain version of the platform I need to be on?

    Good day!

The Last Payment Date is really not a field that posts but a field that will be used to calculate the number of payments. We have added that field to help the end user to specify the last payment instead of saying, e.g. 12

So the donor does not have to set the number of times a recurring should occur but simply stating how often and when it should end, e.g. December 31, 2015

When faced with the last payment date we calculate N and set it up accordingly.

    Hope that answers your question.

      Thanks for the quick reply!

I think I am missing a required piece. Are there two fields that have to work together to get a recurring transaction which ends on a specific date?

When I submit the form with "Installments = #" (and Periodicity set appropriately) the installments are set to that # even if I have the LastPaymentDate (field submitted also. So when I try to leave out the installments #, the transaction always default to type = single.

        Good day!

The LastPaymentDate will be ignored if the installment number is included. Installment number has top priority.

If you want to use the LastPaymentDate then omit the Installment number.

        Hope that answers your question.
