  • Posting to Salesforce

I've just tested my form, and although the payment was processed (it is visible in a report on clickandpledge.com) it did not post to Salesforce.

I've double-checked account info, org id, security token, etc... C&P did post a failed transaction via C&P Data, but I cannot find the successful transaction anywhere on our database.

Could someone please walk me through why this might be?

My form is located at: https://btaoregon.org/bcc/

    Good day!

The form should be fine since per your post your transaction shows up in the C&P Portal. The forms have nothing to do with posting to Salesforce. Once it posts to our API the information will post to Salesforce if the account is connected.

In debugging always take the following steps:
    1. Check Click & Pledge <> Salesforce connection in the portal > Account Info > 3rd Party > Salesforce: make sure it verifies
    2. Check C&P Data tab in Salesforce and see if the XML has posted. All transactions post to Salesforce to the C&P Data
    3. Check to see if the C&P Data status is 1 - meaning no error has occurred. If there is an error we list the complete error in the C&P Data - bottom of the page.
    4. Check C&P Temporary Contact to make sure that the contact is not in the Temporary Contact - if you are set for Semi-Automatic.
    I reviewed your account &
    1. Your connection is correct and C&P and Salesforce are connected.
    2. I can't check the rest since we don't have access to your account. Please grant us access and we will review your Salesforce instance.

    How to grant access: http://forums.clickandpledge.com/showthread.php?t=1065
Please make sure to post your organization name & the Salesforce Organization ID so we know how to locate your instance.

      Thank you!

      I've granted you access to:

Org Name - Bicycle Transportation Alliance
      Org ID - 00Di0000000iLgx

I've looked through C&P data, and the posted transaction did not come through.

        Good day!

Thank you for providing access to your account.

I reviewed your account and based on my previous post checked the following:
        • Salesforce connection: OK
        • C&P Data: Post is in Salesforce - see below image

The top 2 transactions show as posted but the Status ID is 0 meaning there is an error in the post. Clicking on the transaction with Status ID of 0 shows the following: (towards the bottom of the post)

As you see an error has occurred:

Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: INVALID_EMAIL_ADDRESS, Email: invalid email address: [email protected] org: [Email]

This is something that you must have added. Any idea what that error refers to?

Please reread my initial post. The failed transaction did indeed post to Salesforce. I'm concerned with successful transactions that are processed and not posted to Salesforce, such as one this morning for $105.

            Good day!

Your initial post does not state the Order Number that you are having issue. In reviewing your account we saw those errors.

What is the Order Number that you are looking for in Salesforce? Please see the receipt and post the order # so we can review.

The issue we posted states there is error in your instance.

Order number 1408011641287906724 is an example of successfully processed payment that is visible on a report in the C&P Portal, which did not get pushed to Salesforce.

                Good day!

There are a ton of errors resulting in your instance and emails are being sent to you regarding these errors.

The posted error: System.LimitException: Too many namespaces accessed: 10

You may want to note the following reference:
                http://www.salesforce.com/us/develop...e_versions.htm

It appears you have a lot of applications that are acting on the contact object. Salesforce has a limit of 10 name spaces acting on an object. Please see your installed packages:

                Installed Packages

As stated Salesforce has a limit on the number of objects that may act on an object at one time. The limit is being exceeded when we are trying to create a contact.

We have been sending error messages to following emails as shown by the arrow since June 3, 2014 with the same error.

The following is a sample of an email which is being sent to you warning of the error:

You may need to uninstall some packages that are not being used. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do. We are trying to create a contact but more than 9 other apps are also trying to do their job and Salesforce won't allow it.

This is a Salesforce issue that we have to unfortunately live with- see similar posts to Salesforce: https://developer.salesforce.com/for...000000096TrIAI

Also, I can't find a single email similar to the ones you mentioned in my inbox (in any folder)... I wonder if this is not happening because the payment could not be posted to Salesforce...

                      Good day!

No- the error is sent by the API - if we can't post to Salesforce there is no point in coming up with an error reporting that depends on the post

If the API can't connect it will generate an error. If a Salesforce post generates an error then Salesforce will generate the error. In this case API could not post so it generated the error.

Please login to the Portal and click on Account Info > 3rd Party > Salesforce

make sure the emails listed are separated by semi-colon and are spelled correctly. I have seen many cases that the emails are not separated by semi-colon or are spelled incorrectly.

Let me know if you find out the issue. Also SPAM folder - I am sure you have checked that already.
