I am troubleshooting the eCheck option on our FaaS page (https://www.ywamsf.org/donate). The latest error I'm getting is "Check number is not valid". Why is the check number required? If I don't want to ask the donor for a check number (how would I explain it on the form page?) is it OK to just assign a static number (e.g. "1") to checknumber?

check number required?

Good day!
The check # is required by the bank but it may be faked by a static number. You may want to generate a random 5 digit number to use for it.
The challenge is if a dispute occurs and then the bank will state the check number which may not help with the dispute. Of course with nonprofits this is not an important issue.
A random number in your case should do the trick.Regards,
