  • Invalid Account Error

    When customers attempt to make a donation on one of our regional offices web pages they are receiving the follwing error: Click and Pledge Error: There was an error with your donation: Invalid account. The Support Department directed me to this forum for answers as to how we can fix this issue. No changes have recently been made on our donations page. Thank you.

    Good day!

    Invalid account simply means the account ID is not valid. What is the form you are using? If support has referred you to this forum it means you are using an API form and not a standard form. Is that correct?

        Please send us the link to the form you are using. I am also going to move this thread to the FaaS forms. Please continue the thread and post in the proper forum so we avoid confusion.

        What is the URL to the form you are using?

              Good day!

              We should have been surprised if it had worked. See below:

              Your other sites all have the Account ID, WID, and Account GUID filled but in this one it is blank. I am sure you see the problem.

                Thank you for locating this error. Forgive me if this is a silly question, but our web managers recently left the organization so I simply do not know - Is there any chance this is something you are able to update? We have the Account ID and GUID.

                  Good day!

                  I wish I could update it for you - please note that the change is on your website and not with us. The form is hosted on your server or host and we don't have access to the code.

                    We have an external company who will be able to go in and correct this code for us. I was able to determin our Account ID and API Acount GUID from our account page on Click and Pledge. However, I do not see the WID. Could you direct me to where I would find this information?
