  • Product Information Form Fields

We're fairly new to click and pledge. We're using is as FaaS and sending all of our data in the appropriate form fields. We are missing a crucial pieced of information for us to be able to properly report to our users. We are using it as a shopping cart and sending all values into the "Product Information" form fields. Most of this information is readily available on default reports except for the campaign. There is a campaign field on the standard report and available from the list of options for custom reports, but it is empty. I have verified that I am sending crucial information in this field with every transaction as "CampaignX" where X is the sequential cart counter. The other fields, like ItemID1 and SKU1, are properly filling in, but the campaign is not. Can you let me know how I can gain access to that field. It is absolutely imperative for our business that we make that field available for reporting.

Thanks. You have to be logged in and create players then register your players for a tournament. I went through the process and got to the checkout form registering one player. I copied the checkout form to a text file. Can I send that to you via email or private message, or should I just blank out all sensitive information and add it as an attachment?

        Good day NYWay!

I now understand the issue. Please note that the Campaign and SKU are purely designed to post to Salesforce and function within the Salesforce application.

Are you using Salesforce? Based on your account setting I see that you are not connected. If you were to use Salesforce all that information posts directly to it.

Thank You. The SKU is readily available - that's where we store our member id, so I know it's there or we'd be dead in the water right now. As far as I can tell, the campaign is the only field not available. There's nothing in the documentation that I can find that says the Product Information variables are only available for Salesforce customers. It doesn't seem fair that we have to pay additional for one field, but I'll look into it.

            Good day!

I will request for Campaign to be added to the report. Please note that Salesforce is absolutely free for registered nonprofits. Salesforce Foundation grants 10 user licenses free to all registered 501 C(3) nonprofits.

If you are a nonprofit you may want to consider using Salesforce for your donor management. It is a great tool and may be used as an extension to Click & Pledge's core platform. With Connect Peer-to-Peer fundraising platform we will be placing a great deal of emphasis on Salesforce and connections among your donors.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Our 501c3 paperwork has been submitted, but I'm sure it will move at the governmental snails pace. I don't suspect to hear anything on that for several months. Unfortunately, we need immediate assistance, to the point where we may have to look at other options if we can't find a resolution. We cannot currently reconcile our accounts with the data available in the reporting tool. When you say you'll put in a request for the campaign to be added, what does that mean? Is this normally a fairly short turnaround or does it take several months for such a thing to be added? We need to make a decision very soon.

              Thank You for your assistance.

                Good day!

May I ask that you download the report now and tell me if it has the information you need?

We updated the system today and one of our developers added the info you requested. We have not yet announced this in the forum and would like to know if it satisfies your needs.

Sorry, but I don't see it anywhere in the report. This is the standard detailed transaction report you're referring to, correct? I see the ItemID, ItemName, SKU, but still no campaign - unless I'm looking in the wrong spot.

                  Thanks.

                    Good day!

Yesterday the servers were being replicated and I might have sent the message to you a bit early. You might have hit a server with the old release.

When I downloaded your report I see a column as shown below:

Name:	ItemCampaign.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	22.0 KB

Please let me know if you don't see that column in your "Detailed Transaction" report.

Thank you so much, sir. You have no idea how much this will simplify our reconciliation with different clubs and tournaments. Thank You.
