  • Donor redirected to blank webpage when submitting a payment form

    Hi,

    Several people have received transaction errors when trying to purchase tickets for an upcoming event. When they completed the payment form on this page (http://www.upwardlyglobal.org/gala/s...benefit-ticket), they were taken to a white page with the following URL:https://faas.cloud.clickandpledge.com/. The issue started around 3pm Pacific on 7/24 and has been intermittent on 7/25.

    None of the transactions were posted in Salesforce or TransFirst, so it looks like an issue with Click and Pledge (or with the data transfer).

    We have had successful transactions with our other forms over the past few days and are not aware of errors on those pages.

    We ran a few tests today with the form above using the same credit card:
    - 1:05pm Pacific the form did not work
    - 1:27pm Pacific the form did work

    Can you please advise on what the cause of this issue is?

    Aaron,

    Please IMMEDIATELY change your link. We don't respond to http:// requests. All transactions has to post from a secure page and once in production if the referring URL is not https:// a white page, no response, will be presented.

    Your page has to be hosted in a secure page.

    Let me know when you are live so we can test it.

      Aaron,

      I just checked your link and noticed that you also support https:// but it seems like your visitors are landing on the http:// page (not secure): https://www.upwardlyglobal.org/gala/...benefit-ticket

      I think you just need to change your links to point to the https:// page you have already set up.

        We just tried the form again at 2:19pm and go the same blank webpage again. We have not made any changes to the form since the last successful submission.

          Oh, good catch! We are adding the redirect. That would explain why it worked in test but not in production. I'll update you when the redirect is in place.
