  • Transactions Failing Regularly after upgrade to 3.4.5 and gateway 2.300.003

    Hello. My woocommerce store was working well on WC 3.4.3 and the gateway for that version. After I updated, I am getting several transactions that are timing out and failing with the error: "Unpaid order cancelled time limit reached. Order status changed from Pending payment to Cancelled." This was happening a few versions ago for me, but like I say, absolutely went away after I moved to 3.4.3.

    I was personally able to successfully complete an order, and had one other successful order since the upgrade, but 4 other orders failed in the manner stated above.

    Can you please check into this? You should still have my login info for ancienttreearchive.org

    We are going to release the patch with the change we made in your instance so you no need to change anything when you upgrade next time.

    Please note that since we're getting traffic and failed orders right now, I turned off Click & Pledge gateway and enabled PayPal for now. As you start to work on this, go ahead turn on C&P.

    UPDATE: I emailed all the people whose transactions failed, and here is one response:

    Thanks for reaching out. Yes, I think you guys might have some kind of bug going on - I had a tremendous amount of trouble ordering. For some reason each time I went to submit the order, I would click "submit" and it would refresh my order page as though information was incomplete. I was getting a message about submitting a coupon code at the top, but otherwise everything appeared to be complete (of course, certain CVC codes need to be re-entered each time the page is refreshed). I tried 5 or 6 times; created a profile thinking this might simplify things, and eventually just gave up. Today I cleared my cache and logged in, but was surprised to see it was listed as Cancelled (I never Cancelled it, nor received any confirmation the submission had actually taken place). Definitely something funky going on with the online ordering.

    I ended up getting it from Amazon, so I'm all set! Good luck figuring it out. I'm using an up-to-date Chrome browser, in case that helps.
