Shopp and Wordpress 4.0?

I see that the Shopp install page says it works through Wordpress 3.9.2. I'm curious if anyone else is successfully running Shopp on 4.0. I also have to wonder what is holding this plug-in back from becoming officially compatible with 4.0 like most other plug-ins out there?
