  • CnP is THE BEST!

As you all know, I've been looking for membership solutions. A month or so ago, we decided to switch from Joomla to Wordpress to take advantage of BuddyPress with Paid Memberships Pro to better manage our memberships since we're not happy with the level of membership management available via NPSP....without lots of customization. Just when we thought we'd have to rig something together, here comes good ole CnP with its Paid Membership Pro integration.

Thanks to you all for working as hard as you do!

    Hi Neely,

Good to hear this - we have not yet announced it and it is in beta so we love to hear any feedback you may have or if you find any issues.

Keep us posted of what your experience is.

We will be announcing it once we are confident all is stable.

We'll keep you posted. The site is still under construction on a temporary url, but as soon as we're up and running we'll give you our feedback. I am eager to see how smoothly recurring payments are managed.

      Thanks again!

        Neely,

The recurring transactions are not posted to PaidMembershipsPro. We are working on a possible live post but it is currently not available.

Okay, thanks for letting me know that recurring transactions don't post to PaidMembershipsPro. I wish recurring payment posting wasn't so problematic.

You guys are still the best!

          Thanks,
          Neely

Hi, I want to give you an update on how PaidMembershipsPro is working for us. So far, so good. It's just that every time we update PaidMembershipsPro, we have to reinstall the Click and Pledge payment file. I understand why, since the CnP file is not part of the core plugin. Soooooo, this is why (even though this works for us for now) we think it would be WONDERFUL if Click and Pledge develops a Membership Module. Any updates on a potential Membership Module? I know the suggestion found on this thread was helpful.....any progress since then?

            Thanks!
            Neely

            • Hi,

Yes, the portal option is quite expensive. How about doing something similar to Volunteers for Salesforce? They now have a feature called Volunteer Personal Sites for users to edit and adjust their info and volunteer slots. Here is a short 4min video about it:

              Hi @Neely,

              Nice indeed. Interesting idea.

Have to figure out the security issues but I can see given a long GUID, one can fully customize this page. It has to be an expiring token where you can only use it once. A disposable page!

Interesting indeed. Will review and discuss and let you know what we can do.
