  • Opencart 3.0 C&P Integration - Error Installing

I recently upgraded my Opencart from 1.5 to 3.x I downloaded the most recent extension from the C&P Gethub site.

Copied all files to their respective directories. When I try to install it from the Payments Extension area in Opencart I get an error. It was working a couple years ago but they have not been using it so I disabled the store url. and am now resurrecting it with the updated version and theme. The database is the same. Note: I created a sample store with a the new version to test out a new theme and used the same database to connect to. I'm not sure if that caused any a problem with regards to the tables in the DB. Anyway I wanted to give you guys as much info as you needed to make an assessment.

I created an Admin login and can provide login credentials for you privately if would like to take a look. Any help would be appreciated.

    Here is the error:

        Good day @Nina Boatman

One of our developers reviewed your instance and noticed that you are using MySql version below 5.6.5 and in this case, our queries are not executed while installing our gateway.

The FTP details you provided doesn't have permission to change the code. However, we managed to change the code and it is working now.

We highly recommend you to upgrade the MySql version. In case if you uninstall and install, again it will throw an error.

Thanks. I was inquiring from my Host about upgrading mySql and they referred me to this link. I have no problem upgrading but the warning at the top suggests that some tables would break. Would you advise continuing to upgrade? https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/a...10-2-on-Linux-

            Good day @Nina Boatman

Yes, you are correct. But always best practice is to keep your instance up to date. We highly recommend that you take a back up of tables before proceeding with the upgrade. You are at a lower version and while upgrading to the major version you might face some issues, for that you need to check with your host provider.
