  • Gravity Forms Click & Pledge

Gravity Forms Click & Pledge has errors with PHP 8.0. Most servers are switching over as php 7.4 is no longer supported or getting security updates. I've contacted the support on Wordpress Plugins since last year but no reply. https://wordpress.org/support/plugin...-click-pledge/

The errors make it so the dashboard user can not edit gravity forms...they are stuck until this plugin is disabled. Once disabled, the form can be edited.

Here is an example of a few errors I found:

[19-Jan-2023 16:39:22 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: count(): Argument Home ($value) must be of type Countable|array, stdClass given in /var/web/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gravity-forms-click-pledge/class.GFCnpConnectCampaignField.php:192

[19-Jan-2023 16:38:53 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: count(): Argument Home ($value) must be of type Countable|array, stdClass given in /var/web/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gravity-forms-click-pledge/class.GFCnpConnectCampaignField.php:365

Most hosts are forcing 8.0 by the end of month.

    I hope this helps.

    Good day @dojodigital

Have you updated to the latest version of our plugin? We are compatible with v8 of PHP. Please see: https://forums.clickandpledge.com/fo...ibility-update

I was just on live support with Robert and he pointed me to this link, which happens to be a posting from OUR webhoster. And we DO have the latest version of the plugin for Gravity Forms. But the problem mentioned above persists. =Clare Durst

Those are compatibility issues with php 8. The minute we use PHP 7.4 all errors go away and forms can be edited. Once we put the site back to using php 8.0 the forms freeze (admin side) There are no errors that show on the front end. You won't even know there is an error until you try to edit a gravity form.

        I hop that helps
