  • Cannot access C&P settings in Gravity Forms or add form fields

I'm trying to use Click & Pledge with Gravity Forms, but the Click & Pledge settings screen is blank. See attached screenshot cp-settings.jpg. If I inspect the screen, there is a div with id="cnpfrmsettings" that has an inline style of display: none.

Also, with the Click & Pledge plugin activated, when trying to edit a form at wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_edit_forms&id=2 the form field type metaboxes can't be collapsed or scrolled to access additional fields. See attached screenshot cp-form-fields.jpg.

Also, editing a form at wp-admin/admin.php?page=gfcnp&view=edit only shows an update button. But maybe that is what it's supposed to look like? See attached screenshot cp-form-edit.jpg.

    WordPress 5.7.2
    Gravity Forms 2.5.2.4
Gravity Forms Click & Pledge 04.2102000000-WP5.6.1-GF2.4.22.5

I've tried using earlier versions of WordPress (5.6.1) and and Gravity Forms (2.4.22.5), but the problem still persists.

        Good day @esaner

Thank you for sharing the details. One of our developers reviewed your instance and said they required the FTP details in order to debug the issue. They said, it looks like some other plugin might be conflicting with our plugin.

Also, we noticed that you doesn't have a valid license key for GF. If you have license key then would you please configure it at settings?

Please share the FTP details so that we can help you further.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
        Regards,
        Click & Pledge Support Department

The problem persists even with all plugins disabled except for Gravity Forms and Click & Pledge, and with the Twenty Twenty-One theme activated. This is not a plugin or theme conflict issue.

Adding a valid Gravity Forms license does not fix the problem and shouldn't have an affect anyways because that just allows for auto updates.

Updating to the latest version of the Click & Pledge plugin does not fix the problem (4.2106000000-WP5.7.2-GF2.5.6).

FTP access shouldn't be necessary. Below is some info about the server stack for this particular site. Is your plugin compatible with this stack?

          Ubuntu 18.04
          Nginx 1.17.3
          PHP 7.4.18
          MariaDB 10.2.38
          Server management: Roots Trellis https://roots.io/trellis/
          WordPress boilerplate: Roots Bedrock https://roots.io/bedrock/
          Memory limit: 256M

But this problem exists no matter where I setup these plugins. A local test environment using Valet Linux with fresh, blank WordPress installation and just Gravity Forms and Click & Pledge plugins installed yields the same problem. After looking through server logs, WordPress logs, and Gravity Forms logs (also tried No Conflict mode), the only thing I can find is that when I try to edit a form or access Click & Pledge settings I get a 500 error on admin.php. And this error only shows in the console on the local test site.

          HTML Code:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 () https://site.test/wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_settings&subview=Click+%26+Pledge
          HTML Code:
          admin.php:1 GET https://site.test/wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_edit_forms&id=1 500

On that same local test site, on the Click & Pledge settings page if I inspect the page and remove the inline style="display: none" from html table with id="cnpfrmsettings", then I see the error shown in the attached screenshot.

            Good day @esaner

We noticed that we don't have access anymore to your Website Admin login page.

Please note that the error 500 has many reasons as listed below:

500 Internal Server Error (Most Common Causes):

500 Internal server errors in WordPress can be caused by many things. If you’re experiencing one, there’s a high chance one (or more) of the following elements is causing the issue:
            • Browser Cache.
            • Incorrect database login credentials.
            • Corrupted database.
            • Corrupted files in your WordPress installation.
            • Issues with your database server.
            • Corrupted WordPress core files.
            • Corrupted .htaccess file and PHP memory limit.
            • Issues with third-party plugins and themes.
            • PHP timing out or fatal PHP errors with third-party plugins.
            • Wrong file and folder permissions.
            • Exhausted PHP memory limit on your server
            • Corrupted or broken .htaccess file.
            • Errors in CGI and Perl script.
We truly want to resolve the issues without asking for any login access from our client (if that can be possible), but in the above case, it is required to login into the database and review what is going on.

Please share the Website Admin login details as well as FTP login details through the support ticket so that we can better assist you.
