Donation form is not recognizing the OTHER amount as a valid field for a recurring donation. It is giving us a message that value must be >0 for a recurring gift. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Good day!
We resolved the issue in your instance by adding the "Total" field. We understand this is a bit tricky and will have an update tomorrow to by-pass the GravityForm requirement in case the Total field is missing.
For now it should work in your instance as long as you do not remove the total.
Please test it and let us know how it works.Regards,

What is the status of your by-pass update? We are using a form without the recurring enabled until you have this fixed. Thank you.Comment

However, with the 'Total' field on the form, the same scenario processes without an issue.
We thought the update was supposed to fix the by-pass issue so the 'Total' field was not necessary. That does not appear to be the case still.

@Jabraha7,
It seems like some files were not updated correctly. We resolved it in your instance and are testing the installer to make sure it does not happen to others.
Please test it and let us know if it is working for you.Regards,

We are now running into an issue that the Other field is creating a $0 line item that is causing duplicate opportunities to be created in Salesforce. This is similar issue as previously discussed in the forums (says it is resolved) but obviously we are still having problems: http://forums.clickandpledge.com/for...ion-form/page2
You ran a test this morning on our instance and you will see from the email receipt you received that there is a $0 line item and a $1 line item.

Good day!
The problem is GravityForm processes $0 items as shown below- this is the GF admin:
We have to come up with a trick to force GF not to post $0 items. An idea is being tested and if successful will be in the next update due out by the end of the month. The idea is to set a reserved word such as {SkipIF0) - Skip if 0 in brackets, in the VALUE field of any item, e.g. OTHER. The processor can check the value label and if the skip command is found then it will not post the item if its price is $0. In other words we ignore what Gravity Form is posting to the engine for processing. Please note that a $0 item is a legitimate item for free items, e.g. free event.
The biggest challenge with third party integration and our customer's expectation is changing the native behavior of another app. Our app simply processes what is posted to it by the GF integration engine. Some of these tricks we have to implement changes native behavior and may have other cascading effects.
We will post the release in the news section.
Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.Regards,
