We want to offer a recurring donation option on our donation form so a donor can choose either one-time payment or recurring donation. For the recurring donation, we don't want to have an option for the # of installments. It is just going to be an indefinite recurring option for either monthly or quarterly payment. How do we disable the # of installments option to just have the indefinite option available? Also, is there a way to change the verbiage 'subscription' verbiage to say something else? Thank you.

Hello - can anyone help with this? There is an older thread regarding this issue and it says this was fixed back in 2014. However, we are not seeing any option to only have the indefinite recurring option and to disable the # of installments field. Thank you.

Good day!
The option to show or hide the recurring is available but at this time the option for setting the number of installment is not available. Features from the portal are being added to Connect on daily basis but this option has not yet been added.
Currently the next update deals with user permission in Connect. We will announce all changes in the news section of the forum.
Sorry that we can't be of more help at this time.Regards,

Alternatively, is there a way to have the indefinite recurring option checked by default?
Thank you.

Good day!
All options in Connect are indefinite recurring- the number of installments is not available for selection.
If you want to only have the indefinite recurring, simply uncheck "One Time Only" and enable the Month while setting it as default.
This will do exactly as you are asking. The option for allowing the user to select the number of payments is not available- all recurrings are indefinite.Regards,

We are utilizing Gravity Forms on our website so I'm not sure what the reference to Connect is. There is an option to 'Allow indefinite recurring' but not a way to make it default. Also there is no option to disable the # of installments option. We want still allow one time payment OR indefinite recurring.

Good day!
Sorry the reference to Connect was a mistake as I did not notice the channel this was posted in.
The indefinite recurring simply means (behind the scene) that the number of payments is 999. Have you tried to set them and set the attributes to hidden?
We have not tested it but it could work. We will see if we can add this to the next update as default settings, even though I think if the hiding of the fields work there is no need to add more clutter to the admin page.
Let us know if that works.

jabraha7 - I am in the same boat! Pretty frustrating but hopefully they incorporate this soon.
Let me know if you find any workaround and I'll do the same. I'm thinking of attempting to do it via some custom code so that the Recurring options can be set to certain values by default and then hiding this section via custom CSS since the default functionality won't allow for it.
