  • Incorporating Coupon Add-On

    I had set up coupons using the Gravity Form Coupon Add-on, http://www.gravityforms.com/add-ons/coupons/ and it displays on the screen that its working, but when we process the payment, the promo isn't applied. I see how there is an option to add Discounts in Click & Pledge, so I tried that, but it didn't work. We were charged for the whole thing. The receipt did include that there was a promotional code included, attached is a screen shot of the receipt.

    Is it possible to have discount codes with this configuration? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Good day @cpdesigns,

    One of our developers reviewed the add-on and added the integration to the core platform. It is currently under test.

    It is a bit hard to keep up with all these add-ons. GravityForm has a lot of add-ons and creating integration is a bit challenging since any one of them can change at any moment and then the entire integration can fail.

    We will update this post when the final release has been pushed to WP.

        The updates was almost so awesome! We have 5 coupon codes and 20 or so products - so we tested a number of them and it worked - but then of course for the first real person that used it there was a problem which I have been able to replicate. The entry in Gravity Forms has one thing, which matches what was posted on the screen before hitting submit, but then when we get the email receipt from Click & Pledge, its a different amount.

        One thought I had was that last week when I was trying to make a work around for the client, before the coupons were incorporated into your plugin, I had made a couple discount codes in C&P - so this morning I thought it would be effecting this, so I deleted them, then updated the feed on the Click & Pledge settings in Gravity Forms, and tried it again - but got the same result. See the attached receipts.

        I tested it on two different products - which cost the same and got the same result both were products for $250 and with the $150 coupon it should come to $100 which is what the Entry shows, but the email receipt for the credit card transactions showed $150.

        Then I tested it with another product for $300, so with the $150 discount it should some to $150 - which is what happened - both on the gravity forms entry, as well as the email receipt. See attached.

        Any help would be greatly appreciated because the client is getting very frustrated about these problems.

          Good day @CPDesigns,

          We will review the integration and figure out what is going on. Our tests were all successful.

          After review we will determine if we can support this. These 3rd party apps at times are not easy to integrate with it. Each have their own peculiarities and possible bugs.

          We will try to resolve the issue and will keep you posted.

                  Good day!

                  We have identified an issue with the plug-in's integration with Coupon Code and have resolved it. It is currently under testing and we are considering releasing it on Monday after testing it with different combinations of settings.
