How do I set up C&P as payment processor for CiviCRM on Wordpress?

The title of the thread pretty much says it all. The online manual for C&P says instructions are "coming soon" but we have been using CiviCRM for close to a year. Please help!

Good day!

This release is a native integration of the payment system with CiviCRM and WordPress. Once installed Click & Pledge will appear as a payment method in CiviCRM.

Not sure how you are using C&P in your current installation but this is different from what you have been doing.

I am confident we will be releasing the WordPress version on Monday. So far we have completed Drupal and Joomla and WordPress was last and that was completed earlier this week and has been in testing.

I am curious, does the native integration of CnP as a payment system process the payment on the website's CiviCRM page or does it send you to an associated CnP payment page?

The new release will be inside CiviCRM. You will be able to select Click & Pledge as a processor in CiviCRM settings.

It is currently in Beta and in test. If you wish I can send you the files to test. Let us know and we will forward you the files.

Currently it is all tested and the Training Department is working on the manual to be posted to the online manual.

Thank you, but I can wait until testing is over. My organization uses Salesforce, but we previously used CiviCRM. I know that previous integrations of CnP as a payment processor for CiviCRM would send the person making a transaction to the external CnP payment page in much the same way as one is sent to an external PayPal payment page when using PayPal Standard. I was wondering if the new integration would allow the payer to stay on the website (Joomla, Drupal, WordPress) as long as the website page is secure (https://).

The beauty of this implementation is its simplicity.

The payment form is inside CiviCRM and the data naturally stays with CiviCRM internally. Once a donation has been made the data posts to our API platform and if Salesforce is connected the data will also post to Salesforce.

If anything posts to the API platform it will post to Salesforce if it is setup regardless of its history.

Wow! Interesting. If I understand correctly, this would mean that in theory, I could install CiviCRM to use its internal forms that integrate seamlessly within a Joomla, Drupal, or WordPress website, set CnP as the payment processor, connect CnP and Salesforce, and have that data post to Salesforce. However, I don't think all the CiviCRM form data would also post to Salesforce.....unless the CiviCRM fields were some how mapped to those in Salesforce. Am I on the right track?

You are 100% correct.

The problem as you said is not all information is passed on from CiviCRM to the "payment processor". In this case Custom Questions are not being passed to us so we can't pass them on to Salesforce.

Other than the Custom Questions, everything else posts to Salesforce.
