  • Recurring Payments

Does the Click & Pledge integration with CiviCRM support recurring payment? I have been processing contributions and event payments on CiviCRM using the Click & Pledge extension for over a year with great results. I would like to use recurring payments for contributions. I setup a test and had some unexpected results. The recurring payment was sent to Click & Pledge from CiviCRM. The CiviCRM contact had a new contribution created with a status of "pending". Within a week Click & Pledge processed the first of the recurring payments. However, nothing was sent pack to CiviCRM to update the "pending" transaction as "completed". Click & Pledge processed the next 2 months recurring payments properly. However, these transactions were not created in CiviCRM.

It appears the CiviCRM integration does not fully support recurring transactions or I do not have something configured properly.

    Good day!

At this time we do not support a post-back to the CiviCRM instance when we run the recurring transaction.

CiviCRM is not hosted in a central location such as Salesforce and each instance is different. Currently the multi-site post is not supported.

    Hope that answers your question.

Thanks for the response. I understand the post-back to CiviCRM is not supported. However, will recurring transactions sent from CiviCRM to Click & Pledge be processed according to the parameters defined in CiviCRM and sent to Click & Pledge. That is the amount, frequency and duration of the recurring payment?

        Good day!

Yes they do. That is fully supported. We will process the card per recurring settings but will not post it to CiviCRM after they run, meaning CiviCRM will not show that they have been processed. They will be processed, receipts sent, all will be as if they are processed through our forms.

        hope that answers your question.
