Thank you very much,
We received notification from Mailchimp that they only have control over their native Mailchimp forms. Since this is an integration with Click & Pledge and a widget / form from Click & Pledge, it is an integration that would need to be removed from the form from Click & Pledge. Is this something you all could help us with? We are trying to reduce the amount of time it takes to add someone to our mailchimp mailing services, and if they have to receive a separate confirmation email, of which a user would have to open as a webpage to then again, confirm they want to be subscribed to our mailing list, it will likely stop people from signing up. I've attached a screenshot of the email that someone subscribing to our newsletter would receive as an example of what barrier we're trying to remove.
Thank you!

Good day @STW13
We checked but didn't see such an option in MailChimp. We have MailChimp integration in CONNECT but no control over the MailChimp app. You may need to contact MailChimp support and see if they can help you.

Thank you! Yes understandable, I'm trying to find out if there is a way for that one-time confirmation requirement to be disabled so users don't have to confirm twice. They are confirming once when they make the donation already. Thank you for your help!

Good day @STW13
It is a one-time confirmation and will not be needed if the same person subscribes again. Once the information of the person is added to the Audience list, it will not ask for confirmation next time.

We have created an audience to test this opportunity out, however, we have tested this out and the audience members are being asked to confirm their newsletter subsciption. Is there a way to only do a single opt-in rather than requiring people to confirm their subsciption?Last edited by STW13; 12-15-2022, 12:54 PM.

Good day @STW13
This feature is not yet available. However, is there any reason you do not post this to a specific Audience list in Mailchimp? You can create an Audience list, particularly for Click & Pledge, and post to it so this way you will have audience information from C&P in that particular Audience list.

Hi there, just checking in if there has been any updates on tracking newsletter signups through Click & Pledge. We are still interested in finding out how many individuals sign up for our newsletters when they donate and making sure we tag them appropriately in our Mailchimp environment.

OK, thank you for letting us know that this is not being recorded. I have not signed up for the webinars. We don't use Sendgrid and at this point likely won't change marketing service providers, but appreciate you letting us know about this.

Good day STW13
At this time we are not recording the subscription in the C&P records. It is in the list of added features but just to give you a heads up - we are actively working on integration with Sendgrid in the next release of Salesforce. As a matter of fact the entire Sendgrid is being into the Salesforce app in our Dispatch feature. Just something to keep in mind.
At this time, to answer your question, we are not recording it but we are going to work on it in Q4.
Have you signed up for any of our upcoming webinars for the upcoming Salesforce Click & Pay Suite?

Hi team at CYP!
I'm speaking about the radio button within the widget that says "Stay Up To Date!"

Good day @STW13
Would you please clarify which of these options you are referring to on the above page:

Hi Click & Pledge team!
Right now there is a button at the bottom of our form that someone can click when they donate to be added to our Mailchimp platform. Does Click & Pledge retain the information of who clicks that form and who doesn't? Can I see in the Click & Pledge platform who has clicked that button?
Mailchimp doesn't tell us where that person came from and therefore we cannot segment and tag them appropriately in Mailchimp, they just get added to the audience list.
Here is the donate form for reference: https://www.savethewaves.org/donate/

Good day @STW13
Would you please explain more about it? Where do you want to see the newsletters? Contact added to the list from C&P or you have added it manually?

Hi there,
I hope you're well!
Is there a way to see from transaction reports or within C&P who has signed up for the newsletters? We aren't able to tell from Mailchimp that someone came from Click & Pledge in any way, so it would be great to verify where these newsletter sign-ups came from and ensure they are in fact integrating into our mailing list audience.
Thank you!
