Luminate CRM duplicate merging

    I'm also in communication with them and hope they will fix it. We used Click and Pledge at our biggest event of the year a few weeks ago and it saved us SO much time in backend processing.

    We've taken backups of all the transactions, so it is okay if these records are deleted.

        Thanks for all your help!
        Blackbaud insists this is a Salesforce problem and that they cannot change anything in their code. These are their exact words:

        "2. Our name spacing works correctly. The problem comes down to the fact that SF does not differentiate between a field that has the name space and one that does not. As C&P seems to be shut off right now (the merge worked) this would prove that this was the problem from the beginning. "

        Is there any documentation you can give us that shows Luminate is the problem and not Salesforce? I would like to pass this along to Blackbaud. If not, is changing the name of the problematic field in Click and Pledge for Luminate users a possibility?

          Good day!

          The problem is Blackbuad is not using their prefix apparently in working with the field. They are referencing the field name without their package name.

          The conclusion for this report was reached over a screen sharing session with Salesforce.

          We will contact Salesforce to have them send us something in writing. Since the Luminate app is a managed package we are not able to see their code. We only see the error.

          We will submit another support case with Salesforce and get back to you. Please make sure that both us and Salesforce have access to your account.

                    We are not able to merge duplicates in the sandbox because the sandbox does not have integration with Luminate Online (our e-marketing tool).

                                Good day!

                                The following is the response from Salesforce. Please do not shoot the messenger

                                "Greetings.

                                I have investigated the case. Please refer below findings:-
                                1. This error is coming from the package Luminate CRM (namespave is "CV").
                                2. On server logs I could find one entry for the page apex/cv__Duplicate_Merge_Fields.
                                3. As per the debug logs, I could see that following component of the package CV is throwing this error:- cv.DuplicateMergeUtils
                                4. Also, as per logs, the exception thrown is of type "ConfigurationException" at line 319.
