  • Announcing Swiper1 Mobile Credit Card Swiper + Salesforce

    November 2012
    Click & Pledge Introduces “Swiper1”
Mobile Credit Card Processing Solution With Salesforce Integration.

Blacksburg, VA – November 27, 2012 – Click & Pledge, a leading software developer and payment processor for the nonprofit industry, today introduced its mobile payment application and mobile credit card reader, the Swiper1™.

Swiper1 enables merchants and nonprofit organizations to accept secure credit card payments directly from their mobile devices with an optional integration with Salesforce CRM.

Swiper1 is the only mobile payment card processing device that integrates with Salesforce. The device integrates the Click & Pledge payment system with the Salesforce CRM and also enables a virtual terminal and account “look-up”.

“Swiper1 is not your typical mobile card reader,” said Click & Pledge CEO Kamran Razvan. “Users have the option to enter payments manually through the mobile application for no extra cost or swipe credit cards with the mobile card reader. Plus, Swiper1 is the only one in its class that integrates directly with Salesforce and portable printers,” he said.

The Swiper1 plugs directly into an Android mobile phone through the audio-jack and processes credit cards securely in a few simple steps. Customers using the optional Salesforce integration may search and add contacts directly into their Salesforce account from a mobile smart phone or tablet.
Any payment transaction will automatically import live to Salesforce Contacts. Payment records will be updated in real time eliminating costly and time-consuming manual entries.

“The Salesforce integration is key for our customer base in the nonprofit sector,” Razvan explained. Thousands of nonprofits are now using the free Salesforce donor management platform for CRM capabilities.

“Live fundraising events like auctions, social activities, speaking engagements and races almost demand the ability to make a convenient and effective mobile payment solution available to patrons,” Razvan said. “Now they can process payments with automatic data drive into Salesforce. And just as importantly, they can instantly issue email or printed receipts and the efficiency of full data integration is unmatched. It’s easy and efficient to populate the Salesforce database.”
Swiper1 provides an automatic integration with Woosim Bluetooth printers to enable printed receipts at the point of sale.

Swiper1’s mobile point of sale (POS) technology combines the industry’s most comprehensive merchant-centric features with free support to help customers improve cash flow and boost donations and sales. According to the Company, Swiper1 customers may choose a low 2.75% plus .15 cents transaction fee or select from two other fee plans. All transaction funds are automatically deposited into customer accounts within 48 hours or sooner.

Swiper1’s first version will be enabled for all Android-based operating systems and is free on the Android Google Play market. Applications for other operating systems and shopping cart features will be introduced in subsequent versions of the software. Swiper1 mobile card reader is priced at $29.95 and may be purchased on the Click & Pledge website.
