We are happy to announce the CONNECT integration with SendGrid as a new third party integration for eNewsletter subscription. With this update the following changes are implemented:
- ICONTACT: Due to lack of use of iContact, the integration was removed and no longer available.
- Constant Contact: Integration was updated to stay compatible with the new features of Constant Contact. Please refer to the integration KB article: https://support.clickandpledge.com/s...ty-integration
- SendGrid: A new integration with SendGrid is now available in CONNECT. Similar to other mailing list subscription apps, through SendGrid integration, patrons may subscribe to various email campaigns in SendGrid. Refer to the third party integration article: https://support.clickandpledge.com/s...ty-integration
- eNewsletter Subscriptions: With the new release the following eNewsletter services are integrated with CONNECT: Constant Contact, MailChimp, SendGrid
- Legacy integration with Constant Contact will no longer work. Constant Contact has changed its method of integration and as such our legacy connection needs to be updated. If your organization was integrated with Constant Contact, prior to this release, you need to establish connection again, following the KB article. All organizations connected to the legacy integration are going to be contacted via email shortly.
- The above release also includes major update to all the underlying scripts and is considered a major platform upgrade. Even though our platform has settings for browsers NOT TO cache the contact of the various pages, some browsers may cache some content. We strongly recommend that all users clear their browser cache before logging into the CONNECT Administrative Portal. Clearing the cache should resolve any issues that may arise, such as various links, e.g. Launcher, not working.
