  • Salesforce Legacy Apps - End of Support and Data Post

    Date: October 1, 2018

Starting today, the legacy applications will no longer receive transaction data in Salesforce. The applications that are more than 1 year old will no longer be supported. This policy has been posted to the forums and Salesforce Hub since January 2018. The sticky article in the News section provides details of this policy:Please submit your request for free upgrade as discussed in the above post.

The following are also references to this post:We have also emailed all organizations that are being affected by this policy every Monday since August 1, 2018. All users in affected accounts have been emailed, every week, with details of the actions as well as ways to update and take advantage of the free upgrade program. As of this post, over 550 organizations are still using the releases that are more than 1 year old, some dating back to 2012. We apologize for the inconvenience but we have tried real hard to avoid any disruptions to your processes but have not been able to receive any feedback. Keeping our applications backward compatible, dating back to instances that are more than 7 years old, is creating challenges to our next release.

If you are affected by this policy, please submit your upgrade request and we will gladly update you to the latest release. All data that have failed to post will also be posted to your instance upon request.
