To activate Twitter follow the steps listed below:
As instructed you also need to add a message that will be posted to Twitter after each transaction. The message may use wildcard entries for the First Name and the Amount of donation.
Twitter setting is setup for each page separately. Once activated edit each page and activate the Twitter Auto Post in the Social Networking section for each page.
Bug Fixes:
- The Twitter auto post feature stopped working after the change of Twitter authorization procedure. The new release provides a complete integration with the OAUTH protocol.
Behavior Change:
To activate Twitter follow the steps listed below:
- Login to the administrative portal
- Click on Account Info
- Click on 3rd Party tab
- Click on Twitter sub-tab
- Read the instructions as listed and click on Verify to login to Twitter
- Make sure the account you are connecting is the account you wish the messages to be posted to.
- Once authorized, you will be returned to the portal for saving the setting.
- Make sure to click on SUBMIT button to save the settings.
