Release 2.2: Enhancements, Check-In notes, and bug fixes

Important Note: Post installation is mandatory when upgrading from event 1.x to 2.x. In the absence of completing post installation process event 1.x events will fail to create attendee contacts and may generate other errors related to permission. To Upgrade:

• PLEASE read the Important Notes at the bottom of this post.
• PaaS Versions prior to 8.x: Please visit the AppExchange and follow the installation procedure [https://appexchange.salesforce.com/l...000005vRQ9EAM]
• PaaS Version 8.x to 8.2: Click on C&P Settings > About C&P App: Click on Synchronize and upgrade using the Update link provided. See example below:

New Features & Enhancements:

• Level ordering: Levels may be ordered using the a numeric value.
• Tabbed widget: Tabbed widgets allow for deleting a single tab
• Terms & conditions: Blocking mandatory option when the T&C is set to not show.
• New button at C&P events (1.x version) , re directing to C&P Event Management (2.x version)
• Clone at 1.x Event Tab: redirects to 2.x new event [1.x events should not be cloned to 2.x]
• Registration Form Fields: Renamed to Contact Field
• Label change: "Select template for this Event" was changed to "Event Template"

Bug Fixes

• Event - Receipt text character count fix [EVT985]
• Supported browsers: IE 11 is now supported.

Important Notes:

• Event 1.x may be converted to Event 2.x format by opening the Event 1.x in the Event 2.x section.
• Custom questions will not port from 1.x events to 2.x format and need to be added manually to the event 2.x site.
